Become an effective evangelist in your local community

What is Faith Empowered?

Join us for Faith Empowered, a Church Army resource, developed in partnership with an Anglican Diocese. Successfully piloted since 2018, this program brings people from across the diocese together for a year of training. By the end, they become leaders in local church evangelism.

Eating Together

Participants share a meal together and, prompted by Conversation Cards, start to chat about their experiences and knowledge of the topic.

Dwelling Together

The group spends time reflecting on Scripture together, with passages especially chosen to relate to the topic explored.

LearningTogether

In this section the participants will discuss and explore what key thinkers in mission and evangelism have written about each topic, from Building Relationships and Listening to Context, to Learning from Failure and Enabling Others, the course will help expand the knowledge of learners, and help them to apply it to their own context.

Praying Together

Each session ends with a time of guided interactive prayer. During this time the learners may pray for themselves, their context, or each other, depending on the session.

How can I get involved?

There are three ways to join the community and access the session resources, forum and gatherings.

Through your diocese or network

Participating diocese and church networks will have a hub manager. This person will work in conjuction with wider leadership to connect individuals with the community already meeting and learning together in your area.

Through your local church

A great first step is to chat to your local church leader, and see if there is a way to access and use the resources available through a pathway that is tailored to your context.
